Go 'Yotes. Would love to make Sunday's game completely meaningless

Not at all, but I can't see them trying to win a meaningless game to help Montreal, either.

Fact is, the two has had the chance to clinch for basically two weeks now and the coach has stuck by Halak and his half-assed games for that whole period and it's failed to get us just one damn point. This team needs some serious work this summer.

Looks like the Bruins are going to clinch. Currently up 3-0 on Carolina thanks to three shorthanded goals in 1:04. :o

Even if we get the 2 seed, I don't mind playing Nashville or LA or whoever we would get.

Boston beats Carolina, clinches a berth. Can be no worse than 7th

Sharks win in OT. Hawks need a win tomorrow.

-Montreal clinches a spot by getting a point against Toronto. They will finish 7th if the Rangers win tomorrow, 8th if the Flyers win.
-New Jersey wins the Atlantic, locking the top 6 seeds in the East in place. That means we have our first definitive playoff matchups: (6)Boston-(3)Buffalo; (5)Ottawa-(4)Pittsburgh

-San Jose beats Phoenix two jump two points ahead for the West's top spot. Blackhawks now have to beat Detroit tomorrow to win the West.
-Nashville wins, giving them 100 points. The highest they can finish is 6th, lowest is 7th.
-LA grabs a point in a shootout loss to Edmonton, they're at 99 with a game to go. 5-7 are still up in the air.

All eyes will be on Philly tomorrow. Winner is in, loser will be seen in October.

The NHL really needs flex scheduling. No offense to Washington, great team, love watching them, but I don't really care about their game today. It means nothing.

I don't think this is right.

Chicago beats Detroit in regulation so Detroit finishes with 100 points.
Colorado beats Los Angeles in either regulation, overtime or a shootout so Los Angeles finishes with 99 or 100 points.

First tiebreaker is wins. Nashville has 47 wins, Los Angeles 45 and Detroit 43 in this scenario which would make Nashville the 5th seed, Los Angeles the 6th seed and Detroit the 7th seed.

Yeah, you're right. Also, Buffalo and New Jersey play today. If Buffalo wins in regulation, the Sabres will be the second seed.

Also, NHL Network has picked up the Rangers-Flyers game

That does me no good since NHL Network is blocked out.

Well then you're SOL unless you find a stream. Rangers lead 1-0
