But if you wanna throw another hit into the mix check out this "highlight" from the Habs official site

Notice the reaction of the crowd after Hall Gill throws that guy into the turnbuckle. Hypocrites in motion.

You can't cheer for Boston and be pissed about the Horton hit and talk about hypocrisy... Boston fans (for the most part - not all) really laid into Pacs about the hit, and said it was clean, etc etc. However now that it has happened to their own player, they're up in arms about it.

The difference between the hit you posted by Gill, and the hit by Chara is significant. The hit by Chara was even later than the Horton hit for starters. Secondly, Chara pushed Pacs head into the stanchion. Thirdly, Chara's hit was clear cut interference, whereas the Rome hit was north-south, but late.

4 games for that hit is ridiculous - The bulk of the damage happened when Hortons head hit the ice.

Anyways - If you're going to say the bolded above, don't go posting a vid of another hit and starting it all up again. It just adds fuel to the fire.

Nowwwww... in an attempt to get the thread headed in the right direction - what are the predictions for game 4? I'm going with 5-2 'Nucks. Boston won't be able to score at will next game, and the 'Nucks will be able to solve Thomas. I'm hoping to have the 'Nucks win in 6, because that's where the money is for me in the work pool ;) haha.

That's one hell of a chip pass by Krejci.

Bruins have gotten several pucks in the slot right by Luongo. If they could control them they would have some great, open chances.

Two straight drubbings by Boston. Can't say I saw that coming.

2 straight drubbings and two losses in overtime. Boston could have won this 4-0. My Vancouver buddies are freaking out lol. Should be an exciting finish.

My buddy Pevs with a monster game tonight. Sad to see Vancouver become such poor sports when they are getting spanked around.

Is he really your buddy? I loved Pevs when he was in Milwaukee.

I think Boston wins the next two.

We aren't close by any means, but we hung out a bit and played hockey in high school and I see him once or twice a summer.

the cancucks are as soft as luongo's glove side.

Love all the Boston fans who were nowhere to be found throughout the regular season or playoffs now showing up.

Yeah, we got a few more people from the Bulls board over here last year, no surprise a few from the Celtics board have discovered this forum actually exists this year.
