Helm out for the playoffs now after cutting his wrist last night. Needless to say, ajaX is not a happy boy this afternoon

Kings took a massive crap all over Vancouver last night. Not a great sign for the Canucks. It looked like they were the ones who'd have to steal the game with the hot goalie. That shouldn't happen as a #1 overall team

Frankly, whether there's an injury or not weighs too much on these rulings, in my mind. He still intended to ram Zetterberg's head into the glass, and did it after the game was over. So Zetterberg wasn't injured, how does that change what Weber did?

Predators catch a HUGE break.

Well if you wondered if Detroit's group of girls would retaliate, that would be a resounding no

"We're not taking penalties tomorrow," Babcock said.

"We don't have the personnel to get back at Weber so we might as well get on with that ...," Babcock said. "This is the way our team is built, and we've been built like this for a while. To me, it doesn't matter what anybody does. When you win the game, that's what it's all about so let's get past any of that."

Such **** bs. If someone did that to Crosby and there was still no injury the guy be gone for 5 games. I have no idea why whether or not the guy gets hurt factors in the decision at all.

Have my first complaint on NBCSN. Bruins win in overtime, awesome, great. Overtime means that the game that was supposed to be on has started already, that being Chicago and Phoenix. So instead of joining that game in action right away we have to have Pierre McGuire ask useless questions to Tim Thomas before we can go to the Chicago/Phoenix game. Do the interview, that's fine. Play the interview in the intermission.

For the vast majority of the game, Phoenix was just better.

What a Game 2 in Pittsburgh, and the Pens are in mucho trouble.

Big win for the Wings. Detroit PK is the only reason this series isn't a Nashville romp, they've been unreal. I feel better having the home ice advantage now, but this series is far from over

You still do IceHogs games WEFFPIM? I'm listening to the PBP guy and he's ridiculous. He calls a game like every second is a scoring oppurtunity.

Actually running the board for the game currently. Peck is an excitable guy, that's for sure, but also one of the nicer guys you'll meet. He's on our show every week and it's always a good time.

I see the Pens winning 2 or 3 straight, they just have to tighten up their defense

Well if the Hawks and Preds manage to meet in this postseason we may consider...still not having you on.

Semi-related...that sound you hear is British Columbia's collective sphincter tightening.

Drew Doughty throwing his head back and laughing as Jannik Hansen tries to break free from the ref to go after him is the best moment of the playoffs so far.

L.A is easily the most underrated team in the playoffs, they're getting almost no recognition. I wouldn't be shocked if they won the West.

...and that Kopitar-Richards-Carter they had out there for that powerplay with Doughty on defense was downright nasty.
