Hahaha. Spence's interview was awesome. Watch out Philly taxi cab drivers, Patty Kane is coming out tonight.

Kane is becoming my favorite non-Penguins player. An American wins the Cup, love it.

Just need to throw it out there that Toronto has the longest Cup drought in the NHL now!

Happy for Hossa and all the Blackhawk fans that stuck through this team during bad times.

As long as they continue to trade their #2 overall pick and the next seasons 1st round pick for the Phil Kessels of the world, it will only get longer.

Kane's sister. WOW!!!!

I certainly wouldn't be dancing in the streets or bestowing a bunch of praise on Hammond though.

SOOOOOOOOOO happy right now that the Hawks won this game. I think I would have cried if Philly came back to win this series. Now Sharp, lets see about getting you to Mtl, shall we?

Great game. The pace was fast and the pressure was on.

I wasn't sure if the puck went in but Kane's reaction said it all.

Yeah didn't see the puck go in but saw the hands go up in the air and I went nuts. I still don't know where that puck ended up.

Wouldn't they be tied with the Blues since they were founded in 67 and have yet to win? Or do Cup droughts imply they have atleast won once?

CBC montage.

Probably one of the best years of hockey I can remember. The gold medal game was the best sporting experience I was a part of and these playoffs were amazing. Until next year guys.

Thanks for the good discussion.

Technically I guess you're right. The Maple Leafs won their last the year before St. Louis and LA Kings got in, so both have the same drought

I'm calling Toronto the owners of the futility cup because I think you could say they 'existed' more in the 67 offseason or the period right after the cup, than the Kings and Blues. So they had a few more months of futility

St Louis and LA also had no chance of winning the Cup, so the record is officially to Toronto now. They announced it on SportsCenter, anyways.
