The Hurricanes have traded defenseman Tomas Kaberle to the Canadiens for defenseman Jaroslav Spacek, according to an ESPN.com report.

The Hurricanes announced the deal Friday, a few hours before their game at Winnipeg.


Well the Canes needed a shakeup and Kaberle's been pretty terrible this year, maybe he can turn things around in Montreal.

Very surprised the Canes got rid of that Contract for an expiring. Whew!

Well he did have two assists in his debut, which was practically a quarter of his seasons points until now
