I never even considered that we'd be infiltrated by LAKESHOW.
What happened to PhxSuns? He has disappeared ever since the conference finals.

Another overtime for the second game.
A lot of giveaways. Brodeur with a great save.

The Kings play with so much purpose on the offensive end, unless Kovy could create something, them winning overtime was bound to happen.
Good pressure by Carter.

Another hard-fought OT game. Devils could be swept and I wouldn't necessarily call it a slaughter.

Doughty's goal was ridiculous.

2-0? WOW. what happens when you win one of these? what would we do? LIke the Joker said in Dark knight "why...i wouldnt know what to do with myself?" this is totally new territory? flip and burn cars? throw a tea party? Go to Rodmans house and beat up neighbors? Anyhow, its far from over as these OT matches prove they are evenly matched. So this could easily be 0-2 for the Kings. However, its just some thoughts to ponder out here on the left coast.

I actually laughed at the Kings domination in this game.

I can't think of a team in my lifetime (albeit I'm not terribly old) that has dominated the postseason like this, let alone one that was relatively underwhelming in the regular season like the Kings were.

It would be like this Kings team to lose Game 4 at home, then win it on the road in Game 5

I like the kings, but the tops to this season would be the devils coming back from 3-0 down. Would be quite the finish to these wacky playoffs.

this is truly sad, many an LA fan has no clue. and i admit it, i also have no clue about hockey nor the kings. if they win, yippeeee. if they lose . . . oh well, we still have another 50 or whatever years to get it done. this is truly a team and franchise that gets the longest leash, except maybe the cubs? There was a report that some supposed "die hard" kings fans didnt want anyone to start jumpin on the bandwagon. hahahaha, truly pathetic. we aint even got a wheel to build the wagon in the first place, and there are some surfer wannabe hockey fans complainin about jumping onto "kings greatness"

Here was the series intro:
Another well done video.
Brodeur has to dominate in LA, if the Devil's want to bring the series back to NJ.

“I think they’re so close to winning the Stanley Cup,” Martin Brodeur said. “I’m sure it’s getting to them a little bit, to be able to have all these chances and not capitalize on them.
“It’s a matter of us now going into a tough environment in L.A., to try to ruin the party again.”

Pushing this to a Game 6 is the best thing that could have happened for the NHL. Now it goes up unimpeded sports-wise on Monday.
