Bruins off to a great start, this doesn't happen that often so I'm enjoying the half a season so far.

Canes tie it at 3-3 after 2 periods. Skinner with his 5th goal of the season. He has a goal in 4 straight so far. He has been the one constant good so far this season for the Canes.

Boston gets the go ahead goal with 1:50 left in the game.

I really wish Yakupov would of done the slide after scoring that empty net goal.

Great game between Ottawa and Carolina. Canes win a 1-0 game. Ellis stops 33 shots. This coming off a few games ago where he stopped 40 of 41. He has been huge for Carolina this early part of the season. Ellis has 2 of the 3 wins for Carolina. Cam better get his act together or things might have to change as far as the starter.

Predators give the Sharks their first loss of the season. Some other crazy stats for this team.

- They have played 8 games, 5 have gone to a shootout.

- They have scored 14 goals in 8 games.

- 2 of those goals are the goals they give you when you win a shootout so really it's like 12 goals in 8 games.

- Despite this horrible offense they somehow have a 3-2-3 record.

Canes beat Toronto 4-1 behind 3 Assists from Skinner. Toronto kid doing well in front of the home crowd. Canes get back to .500

Canes with a big 3-2 OT win in Ottawa. That is two victories over a tough Ottawa team in 6 days. Canes are starting to gel and play well. As long as Cam Ward plays well at the goal, this team will be fine.

Early leader for worst call of the year. A hand pass on Paul Gaustad that leads to the game winning overtime goal for Minnesota.

Now I'm no expert but it's kind of hard to pass the puck with your hand when your hand is on the stick, the puck is bouncing back up in the air and it hits the top of your hand.

What a finish in Detroit.

The Kings have eight points this year. Eight.

My Canes are on fire! Another road win with a 4-2 victory over a terrific Devils team.

LOL. The new Wild play-by-play guy sounds like Jack Edwards, except he's about 50 times dumber than Edwards.

Good GM move by the Jackets. I think this fellow will help turn things around for that franchise. They need a leader who can lead them out of the misery.

Canes continue to be hot, with a 3-1 win over Toronto.

Canes are super hot.

Leafs were actually doing pretty good of late. Smacked the Habs and Flyers.

Had some key pieces go down though. Reimer, Frattin, Gunnarson.

But the Canes are a great team. Also, im happy Skinner is okay. That was a scary play.

Pekka Rinne with back to back shutouts. Preds are now 7-3-4 despite averaging 2 goals per game.

Given he is on my fantasy team, I'm pretty damn pleased with Pekka. If only he didn't play in the Central...
