The Ottawa Senators moved fast after losing Daniel Alfredsson.

The Senators acquired Bobby Ryan from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for Jakob Silfverberg, prospect Stefan Noesen, and a first-round pick.


Well the Sens didn't exactly wait around to replace Ryan. Sucks that they had to give up Silfverberg but the Sens are going to be a dangerous team next year.

expected ryan to get moved after the contracts they gave getzlaf and perry

Considering the leafs have been trying to get Ryan for years, it sucks he is moving to the Sens. Great deal for them though
