RIP Johnny Gaudreau

Post#1 » by Backcountry » Fri Aug 30, 2024 12:31 pm

Apparently Johnny and his brother Matthew were cycling on the road in New Jersey and hit and killed by a possibly drunk driver last night. Tragic. Columbus has released a statement. Johnny was only 31; Matthew 29.

Yeah now more information is coming out. The driver says he had "5 or 6 beer". Apparently he was trying to pass the two cars ahead of him who were behind the Gaudreau brothers, and when one of the cars pulled out to go around them, the drunk decided to pass it on the right, hitting the brothers. That's a guy who should be removed from the gene pool...SOB.

Absolutely gutted by this news. RIP to the Gaudreau brothers.

This is such a horrible tragedy for this family. One day before their sisters wedding and Matthew's wife is expecting.

Johnny leaving behind two young children as well.

The man who did this should rot in a jail cell the rest of his life.
