NHL outdoor game - 07/08

Post#1 » by timd1218 » Tue Jun 5, 2007 11:50 pm

Who do you guys think should play in it?

I think the Pens should be the American team because of all the obviuos reasons. The Canadian team wouldn't matter to me.

What teams would you like to see in an outdoor game?

I would love to see a Pens-Flyers match up at Heinz field. I would pay 300 bucks to see that.

I know what you're thinking. We're in the middle of a city, what's a hawk doing there?

Pens-Flyers? The worst team last year Flyers?

How bout some teams with some history. Imo it has to be two original six teams, a Leafs-Wings game would be sweet, as would maybe a Bruins/Canadians.

Who should play in it? Anaheim and Ottawa to be honest. If you're going to attract fans and actually make the event worth while, you're not going to match up two better teams.

No one wants an Edmonton-Montreal rematch? 56,000 fans can't be wrong

Blackhawks/Leafs in Chicago.
It will draw at least 30 people.

Tampa Bay/Florida

I kid. The answer is Toronto/Buffalo in whatever the name of the Bills Stadium is

All I know, was that the outdoor game with the Habs and Edmonton was awesome. I would def pay to see that again, but in Montreal.
