NHL RealGM Sim League

Alright everyone,

Remember when we were going to do that sim league? I was really exciting about doing that.

With The Child Prodigy trying to start up a fantasy hockey league, I figured since we do that on Yahoo, I might as well and see if we could get this going. I have some free time so I'm able to look into both of the simulators.

If anyone wants to join, just say so. If anyone wants to help me, just say so as well.

Ill do it and possibly help, but could you actually explain what a sim league is? Is it just another name for Fantasy?

Ill do it and possibly help, but could you actually explain what a sim league is? Is it just another name for Fantasy?

In a sim league, you are the general manager of a team. Whatever team you get, you will have those rosters. You have to manage the team under the new CBA. Gotta draft, scout, practice, etc.......

Depending on which program is used, the games will be simmed on that program.

Kind of like playing NHL 07 on PS2, PS3 or XBox and not actually playing the games but just simming them.

I apologize for the old sim league, time just kinda died on me by the time we got it started, as well as other computer problems

I'd love to get in on this, but I really don't have the time now, and I'll have even less time once school starts... I don't want to have to leave ya guys one guy short halfway thru the league.
