What happens to him now?? Is he done? kind of sad really. Things started out pretty well for him in Pittsburgh but it looks like they have decided to give more time to the youngsters. Hope the Leafs dont pick him up

Shero has been trying to trade him and obviously, no one wants him. He should have retired since he wanted to end his career here in Pittsburgh.
He started out really well last season but in his last 22 games, he only had 1 goal. And playing with Sidney Crosby, that shouldn't happen.
He has lost his hands and he's starting to lose his speed.
He could play a good 3rd line role, but he has said he doesn't want to do that.

I know what you're thinking. We're in the middle of a city, what's a hawk doing there?

I'm thinking they'll either send him down and try to bring him back up (causing him to go back on waivers, where teams would only have to pay half his salary to pick him up) or they'll find a taker for him
Agreed, there aren't too many suiters for him now at this stage. I mean 1 goal with Sidney Corsby you must be in the tailend of your career for that to happen.
I think a team looking for a vetern forward will pick him up but I hope it's not the Wings
