Marc Denis waived; guess they're hoping someone grabs him on waivers or on re-entry and eats his full or half of his salary if its on re-entry. I'm hoping Raycroft is next up, we don't need his $2M salary taking up cap space. I'm pretty sure Pittsburgh is going to pick up Denis on re-entry for $1.4M if he makes it that far which he should.

I honestly don't see the Pens picking up Denis. Fleury could possibly be back within the next month. Shero is pretty high on Sabourin being the backup.
Conklin and Sabu are 6-4 since Fleury has gone down. For the Pens, goaltending is not an issue, the defense is.
Plus, the Pens also have a self imposed salary cap. I don't see Shero taking $1.4 million for a guy who will likely just play a month of hockey.

The Los Angeles Kings are most likely to pick him up because they are the team that most needs a goaltender. The Maple Leafs are probably also in the running.

Highly unlikely.

...Conklin?
Well, at least Fleury's back within the next month.

Well, following up --> Denis has cleared waivers. Add Samsonov as another victim of the cap, Chicago waives him today also.

he had a tough time in chitown... could never consistently get anything going and due to his tough start, never really got any playing time behind sharp, land, toews, kane, etc... overall i think he's played in 20 some games and has been a healthy scratch for the rest... no goals and only 4 assists this year

Hawks are probably setting up for a trade in the near future. They need a Defenseman. I still don't understand why we traded Vandermeer.
