Yup, East is laying the wood.

Either way i love the fact you get to see the best of the best playing with each other and having fun. They definely try stuff they wouldnt in a regular game, so its always interesting. The best All-Star game of the 4 major sports easily.

I think the in-game goalie interview is pretty cool to watch.

Agreed, DiPietro was pretty funny actually. Unfortunately it appears he was the only one.

My other thought is too much passing. Guys wont shoot close, they all go for the one timeer pass. Shoot it!

Selflessness has no place in all-star games, dammit!

Rick Nash is the truth. very nice breakaway goal.

I rather enjoy passing, just not 5 passes on every scoring chance in close. You know what i mean

East hasn't done a thing in the 2nd period. Three shots? I'd accuse them of resting on a lead if I thought for a minute they cared.

Nice job by the West in the 2nd to make a game out of this. Hopefully we get a good finish.

Eric Staal MVP? Can someone say Rick Nash?

Nash blew me away tonite, he looked great. Malkin also impressed me, as well as Gaboriks speed, he could get by anyone at any time

gotta love the interview w/ legace when he was in goal at the start of the third period... "Is there anything you would like to say to the commishioner?" "Yeah stop picking on the goalies...Stop taking away inches, etc, etc..."

Staal doesn't deserve MVP over the one man gang that was Rick Nash, but they probably just wanted to give it to a guy on the winning team.

As far as impressions go, I distinctly remember Thornton whiffing on several shots that by all logic should have been goals. So that was irritating.

Best part was when Doc Emerick asked DiPietro a question and distracted him when Rick Nash was barreling in on him

Great game. Really surprised too. I watched a bit of the first and thought it was going to be a blowout. Blow out games are boring for all sports, let alone an All-Star game.

The last 10 minutes, though, were really great. I remember someone from the East going for the hit on the open ice. Obviously, right away he somewhat apoligized, but it was funny to see the "passion" when time was running out.
