What happens in Tampa, does not stay in Tampa

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- Police say two Montreal Canadiens players have been arrested outside a Tampa nightclub.

The 23-year-old defenseman Ryan O'Byrne has been accused of stealing a woman's purse, and the 29-year-old right wing Thomas Kostopoulos has been charged with resisting an officer, a Tampa police report says.

O'Byrne has been charged with felony grand theft. He was released Monday after posting $2,000 bail. Kostopoulos faces a misdemeanor count of resisting an officer without violence and was freed after posting $500 bail.

The Canadiens are scheduled to play the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday.

Dosn't justify this kind of garbage they should be setting a example for all the minor league players. I heard a rumor that Kostopoulos is going to be placed on waviers and possibly cut.

I know it doesn't justify it, but I was just stating how it came to be. I highly doubt Kostopoulos gets cut or placed on waivers.

Theft is theft and should be delt with. These guys are in the NHL to set a example not to pull crimes and do this ****. They should be suspended for the season.
