RealGM

Finally registration is open! Anyone interested in playing this year? I was thinking of setting up a RealGm league if there are enough people interested, but have a smaller league. Maybe 14-16 max since in the past the bottom third of the league was always dead with inactive managers.

So anyone here interested and are willing to stay active for the whole season? Because it really sucks to have people disappear after the draft.

Hey MAS, darn! I had just created a league and was going to post it here, so people can start joining, but now what hmmmm? Do you mind if I commished the league this year? I've always wanted to give it a try.

Well whoever is commish, and the league, I am in. 13th place last year, but we can consider that last place considering the rest of the bottom feeders barely checked. I should do better this time about.

I'm up for it again. Who knows, with a good draft, I might even crack the top 10 this time.

well i was gonna have the stats from last year too, i saved those stats

Hey if you want to commish, that's cool. I've been wanting to give it a try, but if you have the time, then go ahead. But either way, can we have a smaller league this year with a larger roster? For three years now there've been a bunch of teams that are dead after the draft so maybe its time to have a smaller league?

I agree about having a smaller league. Check the teams from last year and see who was inactive and don't allow them to participate this year.

I don't agree about the bigger roster though. Keep it the same. Last season, the remaining players left were all terrible and some teams had crappy players as well.

The thing is if you decrease league size, but maintain the same roster size, then you'll have alot of good 2nd and 3rd line players remaining that stay as free agents. I guess for me, I'd prefer at least some of them be drafted than be left as free agents to be used for streaming or injury replacements.

I'd love to join up and whoop all of you guys but I have never done the yahoo side of things and am not sure how to use it, etc. I've always done the pools at TheSportingNews.com. And like MAS, i'm still settling in at Brock U as well... so I'm not 100% sure I can handle it all. I've got a good amount of crap on my plate. Hmm... well, I'll think about it I guess and if we do start one can we have a definite answer on which league we are going to be using?

I joined the league. If there's any other ones going on, I'll join those too.

I am definately in, as reigning 1st seed and 3rd place finisher, I'd welcome a chance to redeem myself.

Yeah it's my first year, I'm taking Sports Management and in the Earp Rez.

I'm gonna make a league too guys, it should have the records from last year as well. I'll let you guys know when it's up (probably later tonight)
