Gonchar chooses operation - out 4-6 months

So just saw it via TSN... that's a big chunk of time for your number 1 Dman to be out... that'll hurt the Pens.

HA HA HA HA Pens fans it continues must be crappy to lose your best winger, best offensive d-man and a god young player before opening night.

Not really. They didn't have Hossa for most of the season. I get to watch 2 of the top players in the game every game. Who is the good young player they lost before opening night?

Not really. They didn't have Hossa for most of the season. I get to watch 2 of the top players in the game every game. Who is the good young player they lost before opening night?
Ryan Whitney thats who and Skyora is down as well. Well I get to watch my team win a Stanley Cup and be argubly the best Sports Franchise in the last 12 years

Ah. Whits has been out for a while now. Sykie only has the cold, so he will be back for the opener, unless things go south. I'm not worried at all. The team will make the playoffs without Gonch and Whits. What makes it better is, almost like a trade, these 2 will come back for the playoffs and make the team so much scarier to play against. Yeah, I got to watch your team win the cup as well, and in person. Beat that!!!

Well I was there in the 1997 finals. I think in a few years the roles will be reversed Detroit has a lot of veterans who are due for the retirement home soon
