"What point are you trying to make, exactly? I actually like Lucic - I'd love to have him on the Habs. Doesn't change the fact that he's a pansy, though.
He's lucky Komisarek didn't beat the piss out of him last season"
Your boy Komisarek just got pummelled by that pansy Lucic

Milan Lucic is an amazing player. The kid can hit like a freight train, can fight, and can score. He is the prototypical power forward and any team would love to have him on their team.

If Lucic is a pansy, I guess Komisarek is one too:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VP7jDzfA ... re=relatedCheap hit. 3 secs after Lucic dumps the puck. But Komisarek got what was due for him:

Awesome Thread.
Good to see lucic get some recognition for being a good all around player rather then just being looked at as a "pansy."

This guy is going to be as big as Sid pretty soon. Everyone in the league seems to be figuring out that he is a gem on that team. No way Boston is the team they are without him.

Maybe around Boston parts. Not in the NHL though. Sidney Crosby is one in a kind. So much hype about him and he proved his worth to be known as the next great. Eklund actually did this thing, a blog, I only read the title, I don't know if any of you else saw it. It said "Who would you rather have, Crosby/Malkin or Ovechkin/Semin. LOL. Semin is a good player, but come on...
Lucic's legend is growing in boston though, not as fast as it should be. P.J. Stock made a statement saying he could single handedly bring hockey back to beantown.

A thread dedicated to me? What an honor.
Milan Lucic is so incredibly tough. Or did we all miss him ****ting his pants when Laraque wanted to go? Typical Boston fans - when they're down all the excuses come up. Yet they finally get a win on us in 12 attempts during the regular season and now Milan Lucic is Sidney Crosby.
Cheers, ladies.
EDIT: It's sh00n, by the way. Lowercase s, two zero's. Kthnx.

Wow. I am not going to come back and say, "typical canadien fan, doesn't read" because Snayr who has quality posts, wouldn't fit that mold.
There are two boston fans who post on the Bruins board, me and Dakid. Only one who posts on the NHL board, and thats me. And did you see what I wrote, I laughed at the lucic/crosby thing.
And why the hell would shawn thornton or Lucic fight Laraque. Laraque is a GREAT fighter, but a TERRIBLE hockey player. He had 10 minutes with a -2 plus/minus. Why would we want to take him off the ice? When thornton and lucic are both contributing with 3 points between the two.

Why should Lucic fight Laraque? Laraque is a heavyweight fighter. Lucic isn't. Fighting is the only thing Laraque is there for. Lucic does so much more. There is no need for Lucic to fight Laraque. That would just be dumb. Komisarek is in Lucic's fighting/weight class.
I'm sorry Montreal fans, but signing Laraque was one of the dumbest things they could have done. He is no enforcer. They should have just signed an Eric Godard for league minimum.

If Lucic fought Laraque it would be the dumbest thing ever. I would laugh my ass off I mean why would he fight a true heavyweight? I like Lucic is a hell of a talent and Boston has a good core with Lucic, Patrice Bergeron and Phil Kessel all under 24 I mean they have the potential to be scary good in a few years.

Why would he fight Laraque? Hes a middleweight/light heavy while GL is the best fighter in the league. It just makes no sense for him to fight Laraque. Who cares about some silly regular season record? Last time I checked they took your beloved Habs to the brink in last years playoff series.
Just accept it, you thought Komisarek would own Lucic in a fight and your boy got handled. Oh yah, im not even a Bruins fan so shut up with the "Bruins fan: crap.
LOL at saying Lucic is a pansy.

And last time I checked they lost in epic fashion in game 7. Yet the last two times the Bruins were a top seed, it was my beloved lower seeded Canadiens that managed to finish the job and eliminate them.

He is. And I love how you guys are saying Laraque is a horrible signing when the Bruins picked up Michael Ryder, who is Phil Kessell but more ass. Cheers!

I won't comment on Ryder because I'm not a Boston fan, but how can you not say Laraque was a good signing?
He was signed by the Canadians to protect his teammates and he doesn't do that. What did he do when Kovalev got elbowed the other game. He did nothing. And don't give me the excuse of, well he'll get an instigator is he does. Who cares!! Did Brendan Morrow care about that when he went after Dustin Brown. All Laraque cares about is himself and his staged fights.
Come playoff time, Laraque won't be on the ice. He is a liability.
I loved when the Pens got Laraque, but when he did none of the above to protect Crosby and Malkin, I realized he was a waste of $1.5 million a season.

Never said he was an enforcer, I just said he's not as bad a signing as everyone is making him out to be. His fights are fun to watch and he's a fan favourite in Montreal for what he does, which is fight. That's why he's on the last line; we don't rely on him to be anything else but an aggressor and to fight.

Lucic scores goal, ties game up.
Call him a pussy. A pussy who scores goals, and leads the league in hits, and is a fine fighter with players his size.

Oh and nesn reported that a coach told lucic the importance of not getting into a fight with laraque and staying in the game tonight. Pretty important considering he got the tying goal.
