Now that Mike Modano has retires its time to have this debate. So who do you think the best American-born player of all time?

The canidates:

Mike Modano - Won a cup in Dallas in 99', 1,374 career points which puts him #23 on the all time list.

Brian Leetch - One of the best defenseman in the history of the game and the face of the New York Rangers franchise.

Jeremy Roenick - In his time he was one of the most entertaining players on and off the ice.

Phil Housley - Smooth skating offensive defenseman who has 1,232 points in 1,495 career games.

Or is their someone else you think deserves the title?

So who is it?
