Re: Zach Lavine to ?
I think the odds of Lavine moving before the deadline are now at 0. The bulls want something for him, and no one is taking that contract this year with no production. Much less giving something for him knowing they get 0 production this year.

Even OKC cannot eat that contract easily. Moreover, with Zach out this season and OKC tied for first in the west, why would they trade assets or flexibility for Zach now? If they decided to trade for him, draft night makes more sense.

Still wouldn’t touch him if I’m OKC.

Re: Zach Lavine to ?
Are there any teams that match these three criteria?
1. Don’t want to hurt this year’s tank?
2. Want a win-now scorer next year?
3. Are unlikely to find players with this LaVine-level of star talent in free agency?

1. Zack is out for the year. Cannot hurt this years tank.
2. A few teams want his scoring but no team wants to give positive value for his offense given his contract and lack of defense.
3. Tough question relative to value.
I think the Bulls probably keep him in the hopes that with a year less on his deal his value increases.

They aren't "probably" keeping him. He is stuck there for the time being. Out 4-6 months with all that money coming to him. The market was thin for him before his injury. My guess he is not going anywhere until at least next years trade deadline.

That’s my point. A team that is tanking this year but wants Zach to help win next year.
HOU traded for an injured Steven Adams for next year. Curious if there are other teams like that.

1. Concur with winforlose
2. With LaVine's skills set, there will be few teams who would want to acquire him. With his long contract, I think a bottom out team should acquire him. The type of bottom out team who would not attract free agents. Plus with him being out for the season, the team will not be hurt by his absence. The team who acquires him need to have some defense around him to hide his defensive liabilities.
3. A bottom out team will have issue finding a talent of LaVine's calibur if said team has not shown any recent winning seasons. Teams like them will have to roll the dice on acquiring such talents. I think that team needs to be the Charlotte Hornets. They are the closet bottom out team who are a solid scorer's chance away from becoming a playoff team. If they add LaVine to the starting five alongside Melo, Miller, Washington, and Williams they may stand a god momentum's swing towards becoming a playoff team. What Charlotte needs to do is to address their bench in a serious way. If they approach it the right way, they they may have a chance towards bettering themselves in the long run.
It's not the first time a team has traded for a player who is injured such as the recent trade between the Grizzlies(Steven Adams) and Rockets(Victor Oladipo). Another example when the 76ers traded an injured Theo Ratliff to the Hawks for a healthy Dikembe Mutombo over twenty four years ago.
That said, if a team is showing some interest in LaVine and chooses to acquire him. It's their decision. Otherwise, I think LaVine will remain a Bull until the offseason.

I still like Detroit:
Bogdanovic + Harris + Hayes + 2029 1st
for
LaVine + Carter + Phillips + 2028 2nd + 2029 2nd
Bogdanovic + Harris + Hayes + 2029 1st
for
LaVine + Carter + Phillips + 2028 2nd + 2029 2nd
