i would easily do that, it's not any less attractive for me. Knicks are welcome to keep that wizards pick.

I agree that Grimes and a FRP for Bruce Brown is a bit too much for Toronto; it is reasonable to drop Grimes from the trade. If I had my choice, it would be the MIL 2025 pick (probably a very late first, but only top-5 protected, so if the injury bug hit MIL next season it could be juicy).

Simpler is usually better: Bruce Brown for Fournier + 2025 MIL FRP.

If Atlanta is interested enough in Grimes, NYK and Atl can do a separate trade

Get er done Masai

Probably already been discussed and both teams are just seeing if they can't find something better before circling back.

I'm still hoping we get Caruso for our 24 FRP + the DAL pick that's going to convey this year, but as a plan B or C, I'd be down with the MIL FRP for Brown.

I would be fine with that.

I love this iteration for the Raps. There’s some weird vibes around the Bucks so I think that pick has potential. For the very same reason, not sure I’d chance that with the knicks.

I hear what you're saying, but that pick isn't as juicy as the Detroit FRP or our unprotected future FRPs, and if the choice is between keeping that pick that might not be very late or Grimes, I'm keeping Grimes every time...especially if we're bringing in someone who shoots like Brown.

Grimes is a really smart kid, an exceptional defender, good things happen when he attacks closeouts, and he has a great stroke as a C&S guy (38% on significant volume). DiVincenzo's career year has certainly eaten into his PT, but that needle started bending back the other way over the past couple of weeks.

It’s refreshing to hear someone on this board value a player over a pick :D .

It helps that our FO has 5 picks that they can spend before the deadline without impeding their ability to offer 4 unprotected FRPs in the summer, if a star became available

Really like the direction for Toronto as Brown probably isn't in the plans this year or next. It's clear Toronto needs a reboot and young talent in. Quickly, Barnes and RJ are a good start but the bench is shaky GTJ it's very inconsistent and Gradey Dick isn't ready yet. AJ Griffin gives Toronto a guard of forward who has shown by his rookie season he could be a good knock down shooter.

The pick is it convays is icing on the cake if not your getting two earlier seconds or could be used to move off Boucher for a decent prospect
