i'm honestly really wary about players who just decide to snooze on the court half the time right now.

as much as Mark needs to be the C of the future, I would say that we probably need a starter-ish level C behind him due to injuries. Ayton is a bit overkill for that.

i'd ask to swap our BOS 2nd for your WAS/MEM 2nd. That plus a half season tryout on Wiseman is prob enough at this point.

You guys are not getting that 2nd for a few weeks of Hayward, that's ridiculous.

If Portland wants to clear Ayton's salary that might be one way to do it. Ayton for Gordon, I'd think Portland would have to send something more to the Hornets for the savings in long term salary. Would Portland offer any draft compensation? I guess it would depend on if they want out of Ayton's contract.

Portland offers Ayton and 2 2nds for Gordon Hayward and Nick Richards.

Considering how much of an upgrade Gallo and Muscala were to Detroit, I could see Hayward helping us give another step towards being respectable.

Or it could be a bigger deal including Killian Hayes and a couple of 2nds and Miles Bridges.

I think we take the chance of losing Bridges for nothing in the offseason over trading him for two seconds.

There's a good chance we sign and trade him or keep him in the offseason as there aren't that many teams that can pay him as much as Charlotte can. After coming off a rookie scale salary and missing a year of salary while suspended I think Bridges will be going to the highest bidder this offseason and keeping his bird rights will be important to him.

Detroit doesn't have a lot of targets and they have a lot of cap space. Bridges is probably one of the few guys that would be willing to play for the Pistons, so my bet is he end up in Detroit.

I don't think Tobias is a realistic option. Philly missed on OG and Siakam so they'll be forced to bring Tobias back due to the lack of options for them.

So, sadly, Bridges is all we got left, and I hate it.
