OKC - Indiana

Post#1 » by Godaddycurse » Tue Feb 6, 2024 5:22 am

OKC out: Poku, OKC/LAC 2024 1st
Indiana out: Smith, future 2nd(s)

Why for OKC: add big man help
Why for Indiana: Smith is likely gone in FA, get back an asset for him and free up minutes for toppin/jackson

Not the worst idea I've seen.

This feels like multiple 2nds and Poku for Smith rather than a 1st. OKC definitely doesn’t need more 2nds too.
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

OKC fans are saying ok to pretty much a lot of reasonable big man help at this deadline.

We need help.

I'd say Pacers should probably try to keep Jalen Smith, if Walker can play some SF minutes(like they have experimented). He was such a good fit playing some PF for them, helped spacing and defense, but considering they traded their picks, having one extra is motive enough

I'm okay trading Stix or iJax but I want a big wing back.

I do like the OP. A couple of 2nds work for me in this. Many of us OKC fans are thirsty for rebounders.

OKC's only big wings are pylon Bertans and Aaron Wiggins (who is turning into a decent player but not a game changer long term Imo)

if I Jedi mind trick and wave my hand.... Bertans is the big wing you're looking for...
you: ...yes, Bertans is the big wing I'm looking for... trade accepted.

Pat Williams, David Roddy on Memphis, Keldon Johnson on Spurs ? all bigger wings with varied contracts might generate a trade idea to Pacers :D
Cheers
