A small trade of failed signings that probably both need a different team/playing style
Raps Jalen McDaniels (2 years x 4.5 million) for Nassir Little (4 years 6.2 million) and a 2nd rounder
Both players are not working out with their new teams. Both have some identical stats the last few years. Both need a reset
For Phoenix, they get a bigger player that can guard some 3/4's for the playoffs. Although on very little volume, his 3pt shooting has been good except this year. They also save a few bucks
Raps move on from McDaniels and take a chance on a younger player (age 23 vs 26) that would fit in better with Darko's system. The 2nd is for taking on the extra years.
And I know some Raps fans will hate adding more long term money but it is very little (I am not sure who they are planning on signing in free agency that they need to keep their powder dry)
Boy, after writing all of this I am not sure I even like it anymore

But I am posting it anyway
