lakers and bulls

Post#1 » by shagadelic45 » Wed Feb 7, 2024 8:35 pm

lal trades: reaves, hayes

chi trades: caruso, drummond, 2024 #1 (POR)

lakers get needed perimeter D....Bulls younger O for rebuild

(I feel reaves has more value due to: younger, signed longer (and possibly cheaper, depending on Caurso's next deal), more offense)

Lakers put it out they only move Reaves for an all star. Caruso and Drummond don’t qualify. Also Bulls want to add picks, not send them out. They view Caruso as worth something like what OG got for Toronto.

No reason for CHI to consider this.

I was hoping and expecting this to be one of the first replies. You did not disappoint. Jroy have it all.

It's interesting but don't think Lakers move Reaves for anything less than all star.

His ability at his cost is crucial for a team with so much cap tied to 2 players. Reaves and Vando give Lakers 4 players to build around at 80% of cap. They are valued more because of the 2 max deals for LeBron and Davis

I doubt the Lakers move Reaves, not that they shouldn't but they want him

The Bulls aren't giving up even that mythical PORT pick, in fact they need a pick back to even think about this

Hayes is a fraction of what Drummond is going to give LAL and Reaves is only a guard and can't play the 3 or 4 which Caruso can do if needed

I'd much rather have Caruso over Reaves straight up, let alone adding anther quality role player + first.

Reaves is a better offensive player but Caruso is close to the best defensive guard in the league.

IF LAL won't move Reaves for Murray, they sure won't for Caruso...who is half the player

Why would the bulls send out a pick?
