I think LA has a shot some higher end guys that could ask out, but they probably have to note they want LA or a couple of teams

3 1sts, 2swaps, Reaves, JHS, and Rui is pretty comparable to what CLE sent to get Mitchell when he was 2 years younger and didnt have 1 year left

Reaves is similar to Larui at the time. Lauri was solid, but not an all star
JHS to Abaji
Rui to Sexton. Not a 1 to 1 as Sexton was better, but also more guards who can score out there than bigger forwards who can score

What happens if Mitchell asks for just LA, NY, BKN, Miami?

NY is not even a good fit. Mitchell and Garland have been meh together
Miami seems never willing to push in all these chips
BKN makes sense and can outbid us, no doubt about it. But do they commit to that core of Mitchell, Bridges, Cam, Claxton? Probably not a legit high end contender

Yeah if Mitchell asks out and LA throws their best offer, they could land him. How does Mitchell fit with AD? How does Reaves fit with Garland?

Anytime the Lakers have had assets they've turned them into a star. That's just the way the NBA is. Don't know why people think this time would be any different.
