Brooklyn Nets get:
Jalen Green
Jae'Sean Tate
Jeff Green
Houston Rockets get:
Tyler Herro
Miami Heat get:
Dorian Finney-Smith
Nets take a flier on a young player without disrupting their 2025 plan.
Rockets get an upgraded version of what they needed out of Jalen Green.
Heat save a ton of money for a better fit with all of their picks for a follow up deal.

Re: Houston Herro-ckets
I personally don't like Hero at 30m per year.
I don't think he is worth it, and the Rockets still have a cap space window after next year, which this would kill.
Green has been exceptional lately, and Rockets would be silly to sell low like this. I think he either ends up panning out, or he is packaged with picks to get a seriously impactful player.

Re: Houston Herro-ckets
I mean.. are we sure Herro isn't negative on his deal? Small guard that isn't a point guard, below league average efficiency and can't defend. Id rather ride it out with Jalen Green and have the cap space option in 2025 if he doesn't turn another string march into something next year

Re: Houston Herro-ckets
I like this better with Orlando. They have the need, the cap space, and the mid-value (their own 2025 first) pick to make the deal work between Miami/Brooklyn..
Houston has high variance draft assets they wouldn’t give up. And I’m not sure of Green’s value..
I don’t love it for Brooklyn. Green’s cap hold is 30 million next year when they’re chasing cap space. And he’s very inconsistent (at best?)
Miami - this is giving up on Herro pretty low compared to what he probably was worth before this season..: But probably the right decision with Terry now on the roster. I’d still trade Terry and keep Herro but would understand trading either to fit the roster better.

I don’t think Houston considers this. Herro isn’t what they need. Especially on that contract.

Will Miami become the first team to play with no guards?
