Cleveland - Phoenix - Brooklyn

Post#1 » by Godaddycurse » Sat Apr 6, 2024 2:53 am

Assumption: Phoenix decides to blow it up after falling in 1st rd (KD asked out and is traded separately)

Phoenix trade: Booker
Phoenix receive: Simmons, Mobley, own picks returned

Cleveland trade: Mitchell, Mobley, Levert
Cleveland receive: Booker, DFS

Brooklyn trade: Simmons, DFS, PHX picks
Brooklyn receive: Mitchell, LeVert

Why for Cleveland: All in on another all nba guard to pair with Garland that is locked up long term
Why for Brooklyn: get mitchell as rumored
Why for Phoenix: Rebuild w/ own picks + Mobley

I don’t think Cleveland moves Mobley. Even for Booker.

Doubt BK is giving up all the Phoenix picks for Mitchell.

What? They would do that move in a second.

They would, but asking for Mitchell too is a lot....and I'm a Suns fan.

More importantly the Cavs+Suns owners HATE each other and Ishbia has been quoted on Simmons podcast that he won't do trades with CLV so this is likely DOA unless it's a separate trades I guess.

Even getting their firsts back, they owe layered swaps.. I don’t think Phoenix will do a full tank.

The 2025 first makes sense, but the rest of the value should be other teams firsts.

The other teams should do their trades, assuming Mitchell won’t resign.
