Giddey/Dieng and 2 frp for Mikal Bridges

Post#1 » by GoBobs » Sat May 18, 2024 1:23 am

one of the picks is a really good unprotected one and one of them is a late first rounder

Okc gets a win now player on a value contract that isn't overly long. Maybe sign CP3 next year for one year until Cason Wallace is ready to take over PG

Nets embrace a proper rebuild and get younger

I don't think that's bad value, but I think some team could easily outbid that, in which case OKC should add an extra good first.

Like Mikal's fit on OKC if they get another big too. Giddey makes sense on the Nets if they're doing a rebuild

Seems really low for Brooklyn. The Nets don’t have their own first round picks so how can they do a proper rebuild?

It's hard to do a rebuild without controlling your own picks. It kinda defeats the purpose.

Giddey has 1 year left before he needs an extension. I haven't seen enough of dieng to believe he'll be a rotation player in the league. I'd need to know a lot more about those picks, though I'm not sure what really high upside ones OKC has [Ballmer just built the new arena he will spend whatever he has to to keep them at least semi-relevant].
