Two options for the Nuggets with the Jazz or Nets

Option 1: More Offense

Denver trades MPJ and Nnaji to Utah for John Collins and Jordan Clarkson.

Denver trades a talented but miscast shooter and an athletic big that never found a role for a vet microwave scorer and an offensively versatile forward looking for the right fit.

Collins/Watson/Strawther
Gordon/Collins

Utah trades two vet rotation players whose contributions will be better utilized elsewhere for a talented shooter looking for a bigger role in MPJ. Nnaji is a young big under contract looking for a change of scenery.

Markkannen/Hendricks
Kessler/Nnaji

Option 2: More Defense

Denver trades MPJ and Nnaji to Brooklyn for Cam Johnson and DFS.

Denver trades a talented but miscast shooter and an athletic big that never found a role for two rotation vet wings ready for an opportunity to win. Cam replaces some of MPJ's shooting but adding reliable veteran wing depth is a huge improvement for the defense.

Brooklyn trades two vet rotation wings for a talented shooter looking for a bigger role that can take some of the scoring load from Cam and Mikal. Nnaji adds depth the front court.

I don't think Denver should do #1, nor would I want to commit that much money to those two players for Utah without incentive. #2 feels too risky for Brooklyn.
