Highest pick in this draft for Cade?

Not a Pistons fan, but was wondering what would be the highest pick in this draft that a team would trade straight up for Cade?

I'm thinking SAS at 4 as they already have 8 to get a young player and don't have any longterm commitments to make them hesitate giving a longterm extension to Cade. I can't see Atlanta (1) doing it because of the finances, Washington (2) in a total rebuild and not making sense to give up on any rookie they desire (along with the cheap contract), and Houston (3) with many young players due for extensions soon.

first pick wouldn't shock me. Cade is really underrated and the upside is not that incredible in this draft class from the top prospects.

I'm far from a Cade stan for a Pistons fan because I think he projects as more of a #2 guy on a contending team, but I absolutely wouldn't trade him just for #1 in this draft because I don't see anyone that obviously projects as more than a role player.

Obviously there will be a couple of guys that end up as all-star types but they're basically impossible to pinpoint, which makes it a very bad gamble to take.

Cade was a unanimous #1 pick in a draft much better than this one.

I still have him as extremely valuable. He’s been a victim of injuries and poor roster construction.

Agree with posts thus far. Don’t trade Cade for anyone in this draft until they project
