So, Giddey and picks for Lauri is great. But keep Dort and forget about the PG idea.

I think the best scenario would be..

Sign PG to 4 year max. Trade Giddey for best assets possible.

Stay under tax for two years while being the best team in league probably? Decide between jumping the second apron in 2026-2027 season or dump the two years of Paul George..

Meanwhile Presti can just keep flipping picks and improving assets..

This 5 star lineup sounds amazing. But I don’t think fans should bet on any owner being willing to pay for that..

A sneaky aspect of a PG13 reunion is what it would do to the draft capital the Clippers still owe OKC

Agree with jay (I mean duh). And have always hated the every player on our core needs to be within 2 years of each other. And specifically to OKC, their window doesn't die in 1 or 2 years if they sign PG. They still have SGA,Chet, Williams, Wallace, other young players, a billion picks. No reason they would have to regress at all as PG ages out. They can still add talent.

A huge acquisition like this using cap space and then re-signing Wiggins and Joe to have matching salary if they want to add more talent while operating over the cap.
