Or Beal?

Or Poole?

Lots of players' value can change drastically over 1-2 yrs w/ poor health +/- playoff failure

Simmons - $35.4M/year
Beal - $50.2M/year
Poole - $32M/year
Vanderbilt - $12M/year

One of those is clearly unlike the other.

There's other lower salary examples.

Kleber
Mitchell Robinson
Kevin Huerter

All took a dive in their value due to injuries.

Dude's a fine rotation player and he's not too expensive, so i dont think most teams would turn away from him. But i also dont think anybody would pay anything real to get him.

What an intellectually dishonest representation of an argument. He was unplayable against Denver because he was injured. Not because he wasn't good. He's being paid market value, and he's still relatively young. The notion that he's an albatross of a contract that has been suggested in this thread is comical. I'm not saying he's gushing in value but I'd venture that there are multiple teams that would have interest in him.

ok, i just remember him being unplayable. If it was due to injury, then fine, but ultimately, wings who cant shoot arent able to eat real minutes against good playoff competition. It shrinks the floor far too much

Look at what OKC did against Dallas completely ignoring PJ Washington and Jones jr in the corners. Look at what the Wolves did against Aaron Gordon. And all those guys are mediocre shooters, not awful like Vando.
