Very, Very well.
I don't like the fact he is expiring though. We would need to talk about #33 as well, if not that pick then #23 and add more from the Kings.

But IMO he fits with Domas so very well.

Portis + 23 for Ellis + Vezenkov + 13?

Our defenses blossomed with Ellis starting and should get better with more experience, zero chance he’s traded in a package without a legit all star returning

SAC upgrades the F spot, gets to try the long term Murray pairing and gets a super cheap 3PT shooting backup C.

This Blazer fan says no...

I like the #6 for Kris (or Thybulle)+#14 much better

Well ya I like that better as well but I really don’t see it happening. Even in a draft this bad you’re not getting from 14 to 6 with a guy like Matisse or especially Kris.

Obviously we swap picks and we would like a rotation player in return. :D

What rotational player from Portland would Hornets want to swap 6 for 14?

I would do Sharpe for #6 straight up. :D

If you don't like that just give us Kris Murray and pick swap. I like Da Silva and Kyshawn George as a trade back option.

You would take either player as high as 14? I think Charlotte could move back into the 20s and get either.

Figured as much, what a great find he was.

The Kings already have a crowded back court and drafting another guard will only increase the crowding a piss off players like Monk they hope to resign.

What is your best offer to jump Miami and take the guard of your choice……

I don’t think anyone really. Don’t like the top of this draft enough to want to move up and pay substantially more for a similar player.

I think people are misreading this draft from what I have read. Yes the top 5 are not comparable to most years and an overspend but 10-20 is supposedly very good compared to most drafts.

I think Kuzma for 13 and salary is more than fair.

I actually think if Utah wants to Win-Now, #10 for Kuzma is a good deal.

What about Collins and #10 for Barnes, Vezenkov, #13?

Sac trades: Barnes + Huerter + 13
In: Grant, Kris Murray

Mem trades: 9
In: 13, 14

Por trades: Grant, 14, Kris Murray
In: 9, Barnes, Huerter

Sacramento gets a wing and a shot on Murray (which should be nice for he and his brother to be on the same team). Memphis gets two shots at impact players if Clingan isn't there or they don't love him, Portland moves up on the draft and clears future salary. Portland would try to flip Huerter and/or Barnes afterward.

Too good for memphis, pretty bad for Portland. I think 9 fetches 14 + 1 asset, but not all of them

People seem to assign value to Huerter for some reason. Perhaps Memphis sends a top 20 protected first to Portland to balance?

Grizz definitely do this #9/ 25 1st LP for 13/14

Yeah there's just no way. Ellis was our only real bright spot to end the season and looks like a potential 3&D monster. There's a chance he blows up next season.

Draft:
Definitely gone in top 8: Sarr, Risacher, Clingan
The next batch: Sheppard, Topic, Buzelis, Dillingham, Castle, Knecht, Holland, CWilliams, Saluan, JWalter.
After that bunch: McCain, Carter, Missi, Filipowski, Ware, Edey, etc.

So, one or more of [Sheppard, Topic, Buzelis, Dillingham, Castle, Knecht, Holland, CWilliams, Saluan, JWalter] will be there at #13.
I feel like it is perfect for a team to just take best available or try for one of the big guys.

I do not see HOU as willing to give up much. Would offer up any of Tate, Landale, JeffGreen, Adams, 2nd round picks. Probably not enough though.
Also, do not see SAC having enough to move up to #3.

Maybe is SAC wanted hunter instead of Barnes: Hunter, Bey for Barnes, Lyles, #13

Would Sacramento have interest in Isaiah Stewart for 13?

They would have to. He's not the perfect fit next to Sabonis, but it's still decent (good). He would fill the backup 5 spot as well so that in a way kills 2 birds with one stone.

A deal doesn't get done just by throwing Huerter or Barnes in there as the salary. The Kings would need something half decent back if it's either of those guys.
