Assume Cleveland has talked to Mitchell and he's committed to sticking around.
Orlando trades: WCJ/#18/25 DEN 1st(top 5)
Orlando gets: Jarrett Allen
Cleveland trades: Allen/LeVert/#20
Cleveland gets: Carter/Wiggins/#18/25 DEN 1st(top 5)
GSW trades: Wiggins
GSW gets: LeVert
Golden State saves money, gets a playable guy back for a year.
Cleveland chooses Mobley over Allen, but adds a solid starting center back in, gets a wing defender they need in Wiggins, moves up a couple picks this year and gets a future 1st.
Orlando leans further into their elite defense by upgrading WCJ into Allen. Still have cap space to add a guard. Didn't touch any of their best assets if a star becomes available.

Re: Something different ORL/CLE/GSW
I really don't want to send Allen anywhere in the East, but I especially don't want to ship him to NY, Orlando, or Boston. I also think it's unlikely the Cavs trade any key guys before they hire a coach and extend Mitchell so I don't see picks from this year's draft as a basis for a trade.
I'm good with the LeVert/Wiggins swap, and the Cavs could pay to ship Niang to a rebuilding team if need be, or S&T Okoro, but I feel like GS would have to have a use for that cap space this summer to do it.

GSW would have to take back more money, right? I can see Wiggins bouncing back somewhere, but I'd rather hold onto LeVert if we're talking an even swap.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

Re: Something different ORL/CLE/GSW
Interesting one. It does seem Wiggins could use a change of scenery. I am worried if I’m Cleveland about getting 2024 Wiggins. He was great for a few years and has really been bad this last year.
Value generally seems ok though.

Moving up two spots was a little kiss, hardly the basis for the trade.

No a team can always take back less. This works because ORlando has cap space and are sending out more than they are taking in.
Fair enough obviously if you don't want to take the risk on Wiggins. I thought that swap was additive for Cleveland, but I know Wiggins is polarizing.

I get it, it's just that if the Cavs end up having to trade to Mitchell, you want to know what that trade looks like before you do anything else.

I had a Mitchell caveat at the very top of the OP.....

This seems like a massive overpay from Orlando for Allen...

Totally agree. A year ago WCJ was the belle of the ball around RealGM. Now apparently no so much. I just don’t see how Allen is an upgrade that justifies that kind of value for Orlando from roster construction or talent standpoint. With further adjustments to the rost maybe it could make sense because Allen is the better player but he isn’t that much better imo.
