ORL/POR/DAL Guard swap

Magic trade: Anthony/18
Magic get: Brogdon/26

Blazers trade: Brogdon/26
Blazers get: THJ/18

Mavs trade: THJ
Mavs get: Anthony

Obvious cut Dallas if Portland wants Anthony, but I think Portland does not want him.

Orlando gets a one year PG for dropping 8 spaces, by including Anthony they maintain cap space for Monk or another offensive piece in FA

Blazers get to move up 8 spots in the draft and shed $5M or (too lazy to look up salary difference between 26 and 18) to help them duck tax without having to trade Thybulle whom the fans here seem to want to keep if possible.

Mavs shed a bit of salary and get a bench scorer. Now a dump/stretch of Powell is probably enough to get them the MLE for Jones while also getting the bench scorer.

From an outsider's perspective, this looks solid to me.

I think this works better with Green/Powell and Powell going to Portland as a back-up Center.

Why? Dallas would rather have Green than Anthony. And why does Portland want Green? I think they'd rather just have the expiring.

Help me with why Dallas wants THJ instead of Green and why Portland wants Green and Powell's money that runs into 25/26. I'm not seeing it.
