TOR/GSW/LAC big man swap

GSW trades: Looney/Payton II/26 ATL 2nd/28 ATL 2nd/29 GSW 2nd
GSW gets: Olynyk/McDaniels*

Toronto trades: Olynyk/McDaniels
Toronto gets: Tucker/Payton II/26 ATL 2nd/28 ATL 2nd/29 GSW 2nd/30 LAC 2nd

LAC trades: Tucker/30 LAC 2nd
LAC gets: Looney

*GSW uses cash and maybe another 2nd to dump McDaniels on a 4th team

Clippers trade a guy they won't play for a guy maybe they will. A solid defender and offensive rebounder. Also the money savings alone would justify the pick, though I understand Ballmer doesn't care. But they can buy back 2nds with cash if they want.

Toronto gets 4 2nds out of KO--which is the kind of return we have seen in recent years for players of this ilk.

GSW gets a smart veteran center who spaces and further reduces payroll as they try and compete while being more financially responsible.

Honestly this seems a bit too good for GSW, but if everyone else is down I'm not complaining.

Olynik and Barnes on the floor is intriguing on paper. Toronto should keep KO given his standalone value will probably never hit a FRP standard.

Can't buy seconds with cash anymore, so unless Looney is going to play important minutes, not worth extinguishing one of the few picks left available

Toronto just got Olynyk, and will want to keep him till at least the deadline to see how he helps with the development of their young guys. I don't see any interest in taking on Tucker, at all really, but definitely not for a distant 2nd. Focussing on reducing GS's payroll, I offer the following.

Toronto trades: Boucher
Toronto gets: Looney/Payton II/26 ATL 2nd/28 ATL 2nd

Golden State gets a hustle big who can grab some offensive boards and knock down the occasional 3, while reducing payroll by $6 million. Toronto gets a couple of 2nds for taking on the extra salary. Payton can provide some useful minutes when he's healthy, and Looney will probably play a bit as a 3rd centre.

Boucher doesn't really do anything for me TBH, rather just send GP2 and those seconds into a TPE and waive Looney for the extra cap space.

Other than the PR hit of trading a hometown kid who always wanted to play with the Raptors, this is good value for TOR.

Also, Olynyk signed his extension March 4. When is he available for trade?
