Kings trade:
Kevin Huerter
Portland 2025 2nd rd pick
Nets trade:
DFS
Why for Nets- they add shooting and a solid SG that’s familiar with Jordi Fernandez
Why for Sac- they add depth and size to their wing/forward rotation

Re: Kings/Nets
DFS is the lowest end outcome for Sac this summer at the PF. It’s just not enough. If Monte did that and average everywhere else…he’d be signing his resignation letter.

I wouldn’t go that far DFS improves us at PF and sends Barnes to the bench. What if the 13th pick hits and Keegan/ellis take another leap that could make us contenders.

Re: Kings/Nets
No thanks on this one. Would do it for a Sac 2nd, or maybe even 2.
That '25 Port 2nd could have some serious value at the deadline. If you look at the Blazers and they do in fact trade Grant they will be in the bottom couple of teams. It will be a serious asset on the trade market come February, 2025.

DFS isn’t a real plan. Monte has to do better. DFS can be a secondary action but not a primary one.

Agreed! I’d easily do Barnes/haurter/mitchell/13 for DFS/Cam Johnson that gives us a lot of big wing defenders and improves our defense
