HOU sends: FVV, Steven Adams, Jae'sean Tate, #3
HOU gets: Jimmy Butler, Jonathan Isaac, Cole Anthony
Why: Hard-nosed star who steps right in to a fearsome defensive lineup, Isaac adds even more elite defensive versatility and helps keep Sengun on the floor with his rim-protection, switching, and help defense, Cole provides a nice spark plug PG to complement Amen. IF Amen steps forward and vets stay healthy, this is definitely a contender and a deep defensive nightmare.
MIA sends: Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro, #15
MIA gets: FVV, Steven Adams, #3
Why: Butler wants too much, grab a very significant FVV at an open position of need, bruising expiring Adams for depth and rebounding, and #3 for reload on the fly Riley-style
ORL sends: Jonathan Isaac, Cole Anthony
ORL gets: Tyler Herro, Jae'sean Tate, #15
Why: Herro provides backcourt scoring & offensive creation, Tate is addtl. salary ORL takes on to facilitate, addtl. mid-draft pick.

Houston can match Butler without using FVV I think. Just stack up all the UNG money and wait for 3rd to count as salary matching.
I don’t think Miami/Houston include Orlando in this one though.

I don't see the Heat sending out No. 15 with Herro if they're entering a rebuild.

I don't consider it a rebuild with FVV coming in, Bam already a star, and a bunch of strong wings in-house. Depending on who's chosen at 3 (or even traded for 3), they keep rolling in an age of real parity. I read a lot of Heat fans consider Herro a negative value...I certainly don't, but I can see that Rozier does much of the same things and $29m is too much for his less than key role. ORL can afford it and put him in a key spot to show all he's capable of and, hopefully, stay healthy.

I don't think they need ORL, I just figure that MIA values the cap freedom of moving Herro and ORL (by adding Isaac) pays some of the freight to HOU. Clingan/Sengun doesn't really work. Neither does Adams/Sengun. Sengun/Isaac is beautifully complementary...even if HOU keeps Isaac on limited minutes - which they could given the tremendous depth they would have.

If the Heat are trading Butler, they're rebuilding. I'm sure they're more than happy to send FVV to the Magic and keep Herro. If they have to eat Anthony, so be it.

I love butler. But, his age and contract conflict with Rox trajectory.

Re: Butler/FVV/ORL in the mix
I don't see Miami trading Herro and 15 like this. It feels oddly short on value to me because of 15's inclusion. I would think Orlando could just do the WCJ for Herro deal and we keep the picks out. I would also think they'd like to keep Isaac.
