You marginally upgraded your 3rd string point guard. Carter isn’t long enough nor does he shoot well enough to play the 2 and Monk/Fox will suck up the point minutes.

Meanwhile your forwards remain a giant hole.

Absent another big move:

Denver, Minnesota, Dallas, New Orleans, OKC, PHX

Are all clearly better.

Houston, Memphis, Lakers are likely better.

Kings are back in the lottery likely sending their pick to Atlanta. Fox gets traded at the trade deadline or lost with no comp.

Carter's dimensions seem fine enough for SG for me

Carter measured almost identical to Lu Dort at the combine, he'll be fine at the 2. He's probably the most athletic of that whole group too.

I don't have him as a pg at all. Monk/Fox are the lead guards, Keon/Carter are the off ball guards. You can essentially mix and match, and likely having Carter/Keon with Sabonis would work for stretches, but my guess is we alternate Fox/Monk so one is always on the court when possible.
