Well yeah, my family are all Spurs fans, but I feel like that's an interesting stereotype.

Surprised he took the money over a chance to play on a title contender. Sure, the 8mm difference is a real number. But for someone who has made as much as he has over his career, this is a little surprising.

CP/Pop feels like a pairing that should have happened 10 years ago.

Still should be good towards the end of their respective careers.

I personally expected him to be picked up by a contender.

CP3 trying to buy a team.. also gets to take some credit if spurs have big jump in wins, just like his prior stops (outside GS)

He'll look good throwing lobs to Victor and someone will want him at the deadline. Solid move

Experienced point guard. Great leader. 1 year deal. I like it.

The Cavs did this with Rubio and he mentored Garland well. I'm not 100% sold on the idea that Castle is a PG, but if he's not, they may get another shot at one in the draft.

Also, it's been a minute since CP3's been on a bad team.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

I'd have to agree Chuck.

I remember the Kings would try to add veterans and wasn't a fan, preferred a more Hinkie approach back then. This is how you do it, not Randolph etc.

I'd have to wonder if he is considering front office or coaching as an option in the near future? Not a bad choice to be somewhat of a player coach with Pop & Wemby.

How do you say "Lob City" in French?

Perfect move. He can mentor Castle too.

How much are the paying him?

I don't know. But if it was not much, he probably would rather choose a win-now team.

The Spurs are a win now team. Wemby is that good.

Some kissing cousins in SA huh?

I didn't know Chris Paul was big in the incest market.
