Sarr has no post game & lacks physicality. Jonas is an efficient post presence who averages 10 rebs in 25 minutes. I think they compliment each other quite well. As Jonas struggles in space & that is Sarr's strength. The production value, Washington couldn't do better than 15/10/2 in 25 mins on 60% efficiency at 10m

This was my plan for NO's. Jonas bridging Sarr's development. I'm going to get to see it play out in Washington.

I was suggesting a TO to make Jonas more valuable in future trade pending the development curve. At 10m they don't need the PO to get that.

Holmes isn't starting over Val or Sarr.

For me I think Sarr being younger and rawer - they might ease him into the starting lineup to demonstrate an edge against NBA rotation players before moving into the starting lineup (maybe not). Depends on the coaching and development philosophy as well as what Sarr is open to and what the personnel looks like throughout the season.

While Holmes is certainly no defensive stalwart, he has greater mobility than Valanciunas, and needs fewer shots. Brogdon, Poole, and Kuzma all demand volume. Valanciunas is a high usage player for which that would not be greatly complimentary.

The reason Sarr only worked out for Washington is because he wanted to go where he could start & be a more primary option. The current state of Washington allows for that.

Good contract for a good player, but unclear what it does for the team...

(non megastar) NBA players look at two things in free agency.. one, the most money, two, playing time. My guess is Washington promised he'll start and play a lot.

This.

Green played Jonas first halves & closed with Nance.

Pels were the best first half team in the league & worse 2nd half, worse clutch stats.

You'd think it would be obvious to Green as to why, oh well, can't fix stupid.

NO's catered to CJ & to do so they need a rim protector to cleanup. Jonas is efficiency & rebounding, who's best complimented with a strong POA defender which CJ is not.

Wizards had the worse C/PF rotation, not anymore. JV & Sarr at a combined 22m lol, they got real production value out the 2 positions & Wizards going to find out that most posters that sling Jonas don't know their head from their ass.

While Buddy is probably making jokes, it's wrong because nothing gets run for Jonas. He's very low impact on an offense. Watch & see how many of his made buckets are actually assisted. Kuz & Poole can be as high a usage as they want. Jonas is still going to produce & make them better with his paint gravity.

Zion, BI, CJ averaged nearly 50 APG combined. Jonas average 15/10/2 for NO's on roughly 10-11 APG in 25 mins

Jonas 13yr career he's averaged 18pts on 13 APG. at 15m, now 10m value.

He gets a bump in usage/mins in Washington Jonas will be 20+/10+ player at 10m.
