DJJ just wasn’t willing to resign? That’s the only thing that makes sense to me..

This is a good contract though, I guess. People on Realgm felt some teams would line up to give Naji the full MLE and Detroit might offer him 15+…

I don’t love the signing, but hoping Dallas still ends up with Klay. Or Wiggins, Grant, Hunter, Bridges.. someone..

This is a good signing I have to be honest. Naji is more well rounded wing while DJJ have clear weaknesses vs strengths. Dallas thought they can overcome the losing of DJJr strengths(mainly above the rim ops with perimeter D)with playing Lively more next season.

Naji deserved to play more but stuck behind crowded Pelicans' wing rotation.

Really sad as Pelicans fan(but we knew it) and really happy for "The Knife". He is going to bring somet thoughnes to that team and i think he can be more consistent 3pt shooter then DJJ was even though i dont think he is as good of a defender.
Naji is not as good on defense as people outside Pelicans fanbase think, but his intensity makes up for it.
