CHI would be better off paying Lavine to sit at home than taking this deal.

You sir, hit that nail… RIGHT ON THE HEAD!!! :)

Does anyone truly believe that Bulls are gonna contend in the next few years? I mean DDR isn’t getting any younger, the Bulls aren’t sitting on a blue chip that is gonna be the next All NBA contender. The Bulls can eat the bad Lavine deal and maybe get some value as a facilitator to a big trade in Lavine’s last year. Put another way, how does getting Dlo and Rui and Vincent help them? Is there goal to make the play in and then suddenly remember they are not that good? Because that happened last year and it led to dumping Caruso for Giddey (a move I still don’t understand.) LA needs to make it worth the Bulls while, not the other way around.

I think Russell, Rui, and Vincent for Lavine and Buzelis makes sense
