While I understand the strategic advantages behind using Mobley's cap hold to gain access to to the MLE next summer, I would personally appreciate the Cavs extending him now so I won't have to read trade proposals over the next year for a player that isn't going anywhere.

That can be said about every trade proposal ever from fans.

I would still like to see the Mobleys/Wade moved for Murphy/Jones. Let NOP keep Ingram.

NOP Murray/McCollum/Williamson/Ingram/Mobley makes a good young team lead by an experienced defensive PG.

Cavs turn into Garland/Mitchell/Murphy/Jones/Allen, a better shooting team with strong defense on the interior.

Murphy for Mobley is an interesting swap. Tough decision for either team. I wouldn't be apposed to the idea. If you're asking for both Murphy & Herb, it stops making sense on player & financial front for NO's as Herb is the best 3D player any team can get for 12m/3y. Which would be needed to offset the contracts. Substitute Herb with pick value.

It has to be both. Cleveland could kick in a player such as Strus/LeVert/Wade and maybe some second rounders.

What if NO's traded BI for a young guard of interest to pair with Murphy, picks ?

I'm questionable about Garland's fit with Cade. Definitely would be keen for Ingram though (presuming he has some level of interest in re-signing in Detroit).

I don’t expect the Cavs and Pels to deal Mobley for Jones/Murphy, but I would push for it for either team.

Under SVG 2yrs BI averaged 6-7 3's a game at 38%

Under Green 3yrs BI is averaging 4 at 35%
