Or you just trade him as an expiring for a different player of the same caliber at a different spot.

PHI has the picks to add. Problem is, not too many guys worth giving picks for make $10-13M.

Dont think they can fit under 1st apron then

I think you just keep Reed from most realistic deals.. The options might get better later once you can aggregate some salaries.

Tried to look for 3rd/4th year guys that make sense with what Philly currently has.. Philly has the assets to pay for most anyone, just don’t see who that name is really.

Maybe some team gives up a 2nd and/or cash just to avoid the uncertainty of FA? But I wouldn't expect must more than that. Reed is a fine player but no one is structuring their offseason around him.

All we need is a 2nd. For the receiving team it could make sense because his 2nd year is unguaranteed. Which creates optionality for them next summer as they can either keep him, trade him or cut him. Plus they don't have to compete on the open market with other teams.

Philly might keep him for start of season but they don’t want him as a player really. Just got Drummond and drafted Bona, and Reed unf can’t play anything but backup C.

Clippers ready to send PG13's best friend Russ to Sixers. That bench is empty so Russ and Coffey for Reed.
