But much further down the bench.

I love this for Minnesota. Even if JIngles never plays, he’s still a great vibes guy. If he plays 3 minutes every other week, he’ll probably be fine. It’s a vet minimum, and Minnesota needs to develop some of their “lesser youth” so he’s a good fit.

I think that a key to MIN’s future success is for the Wolves young players to learn to utilize Gobert as an offensive asset, rather than a liability. Before Rudy, KAT pulled his big defender out from the rim to open lanes for Ant. With Rudy though, Rudy’s defender knows Ant struggles throwing the lob, and then doubles Ant underneath or just clogs his the paint.

Mike Conley knows how to use those bone-crushing Gobert screens, and has learned the right angles to force Rudy’s defender to try to stop the lob. So has Joe Ingles. My hope is that Conley will mentor Ant and Dillingham, and Ingles will show McDaniels and Naz how to use Gobert to their advantage.

Jingles comes in with experience doing just that.

At the vet min, there really isn’t any downside here. Good situation to finish his career.

Jingles is definitely adept at feeding himself. We'll see if theres anything left over for Gobert.

Very popular guy in Orl but his conditioning was a punchline (or is that waistline?)

I think how the rotation shakes out is this...

Ingles won't get the full 20-25 minute load Anderson had.
Dillingham will get more than the 12 mpg minute role the three small guards (Morris, McLaughlin, Milton) had in the regular season)

The only other minutes I'd expect to change are Conley's dropping a little, but for the most part, I think Dillingham takes Anderson's minutes and Ingles takes the small guard minutes.

I see Ingles' primary role as being a safety net for Minott/Miller/Shannon. I expect the young players to be given chances to claim Anderson's role, but if they are struggling Ingles can come in to help stabilize things.
