He can't keep bigger Centers off the boards because he has poor timing and a weak core. Don't expect him to be a dominant rebounder or even someone who can box out effectively. His role will likely be to use his athleticism and length on offense to feed off your on-ball creators and also eat in the open floor, and you hope that on defense the game slows down for him a bit more so his length can be more effective than it has been to date due to late reactions and some confusion about rotations and positioning.
As for pouting, I'd push back against that accusation. Some GS fans are unfair to him. Wiseman is a good dude and he clearly wanted to be not just an NBA player but a great one (hell, that's what his teammates expected as well). But I don't think he's entitled. When he asks for the ball a lot it's because he doesn't know what else to do, it's how he's grown up playing. I haven't seen him pout on the floor with any kind of regularity. It seems like he can be hard on himself when he makes mistakes or fails to finish a play; perhaps that's mistaken for pouting by some (especially those who've already grown to dislike him because he just hasn't lived up to the hype and hope).
