In a strange turn of events this could be very helpfull for Nnaji's career. Could be, or not. In all his time in Denver Nnaji insisted he sees himself as 4. Denver played him as 5. Last season he played 85% of his minutes with other 4 bench players. In a lineup with Reggie Jackson, Julian Strawther, Peyton Watson and Christian Braun. Outside of Reggie 0 creation on offense. And Reggie is pick and roll scorrer first, playmaker second. So Nnaji played in pnr, was bad at finishing at the rim and decision making. If Dario is in that position he will make better decisions and Nnaji can be bahind 3pt line to strach the court, or in the dunker spot. In his rookie season in 42 games Nnaji was 24/59 from 3 (40.7%). In second season 37/80 (46.3%) in 41 games. Last season in 58 games he was 6/23 (26.1%). He was terrible, but terribly missused at the same time. So maybe at the 4 we might get something from him. Defensively aside from bad rebounding he was swichable, good shot blocker...with Saric it may work for him.
