Anyway, even if he is healthy it is not worthy for Denver. Denver has Jokic. Backup C plays 15 min at best. AG is PF, and in the playoffs he was also our small ball C. If Denver is willing to trade 2031 LP FRP it would be for a player that plays 28 minutes per game - combo guard or wing. You can find backup Cs for less money. Saric is good enough solution.
As far as Nnaji goes, Denver doesn't have a need to trade him now. He is 23, still has some potential and his contract is declining. Last season, his worst by far, he played 85% of his minutes with other 4 bench players. Maybe this year with diferent bench he will contribute. If not in 2 years he will be pretty tredable. Before KCP went to Orlando it made sense to clear cap space to resign him by dealing Nnaji and 1st. Denver didn't chose that path, kept pick. Now we don't need to do a deal.
Unless it puts Denver into the 2nd apron, I'd do it. 2 years of Williams at $13m vs. 4 years of an untradeable Zeke at $8m, it's a no brainer. Take a chance on Williams, hope to get 50 games out of him per season. At least you know he can play when he's healthy. You can't count on Zeke in the playoffs so if Williams can't play in the playoffs either, what's the difference? And if you get a bit lucky and he can play, it's all bonus for Denver.
Diference is very valuable lightly protected 2031 1st pick as it was proposed. Williams played in 32, 29, 52, 61, 35, 6 games in 6 seasons or average of 36. That is 14 games short of 50. He can't play and there is no hope he will be healthy. I just think if we offer that pick with Nnaji we could get much more. Try to make a thread, and see what offers you will recive.
Oh, I missed that 2032 FRP part. That blows up the deal.
